ایالت نیوجرسی دارای سه ویژگی است که افراد زیادی را به خود جذب می ند. اول تحصیلات که به دلیل داشتن دانشگاههای خوب و معتبر دانشجویان زادی را جذب می کند. دوم موقعیت جغرافیایی. نزدیکی نیوجرسی به کلانشهرها موجب شده که بری از مردم در کلانشهرهای نزدیک نیوجرسی کار کرده و در نیوجرسی خانه خریده و در آنجا زندگی کنند. و سوم جذاب بودن نیوجرسی به دلیل داشتن شهرهای ساحلی. در حال حاضر آب و هوای نیوجرسی شبیه به شهرهای شمال ایران و بسیار سرسبز و دارای چهار فصل کامل است.
